I loved staying in the cozy cottage. it had a fully equipped kitchenette and plenty of hot water that made my visit so relaxing! The fire pit and nearby hiking trails were perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just a heads up, the lighting was a bit dim, but it didn’t put a damper on my overall experience. 😊

Clean room and great location

My stay was quite satisfactory, with a clean room that perfectly met my basic needs. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the proximity to both downtown Kittery and Portsmouth, making it easy to explore the area. However, the mattress was a bit lumpy and could use an upgrade for better comfort.

The room had a good kitchenette with a microwave and fridge, perfect for a quick snack in between adventures. The bed was a spacious king size which left enough room for a solo traveler to spread out, although it could use some improvement in comfort.

The overall cleanliness left a bit to be desired. there was dust on the lamp shades and litter from previous guests in the corners. The mattress felt uneven and sloped toward the center, making it a tad uncomfortable for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the bathroom decor seemed outdated, reminiscent of a DIY project gone wrong, and you might find yourself adjusting to an awkward shower setup. The Wi-Fi situation was just average—great for checking coordinates, but don’t expect to stream anything. Finally, I noticed a persistent noise from the walls that might bug some, particularly at night.
